Born in Hardy, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late William Issacc and Sophia Crowder. She was of the Baptist Faith and retired from Huggins Garment Co.

Surviving are: one son, Billy Cromer and wife Traci of Honea Path; one daughter, Sandy Sanders and husband Lee of Honea Path; one step-daughter, Sharon Cromer of Parkville, MO.; one brother, Harry Crowder and wife Dorothy of Joplin, MO.; two grandchildren, Brenda Perry and husband Wendell of Honea Path, Ariel Cromer of Belton and three great-grandchildren.
