Born in Chicago, IL, he was a son of the late Joseph and Winnie Genty Patrick. Rev. Patrick had been Pastor of Turkey Creek Baptist Church for the past 8 years, a manager with Goodrich in Hodges for 5 years, supervisor with GE in Albuquerque, NM for 20 years, and was a member of the Ware Shoals Town Council. He also served in the Army.

Surviving are his wife of the home, two sons; Bob Patrick and wife Crystal of  Ware Shoals and Joseph Patrick and wife Dayna of Simpsonville, one daughter; Lisa Gabaldon and husband Chris of Albuquerque, NM, one step-son, Daniel Gutierrez and wife Ana of Wilmington, NC, a sister, Mary Pirelli of Chicago, and 12 grandchildren. He was predeceased by one brother; Billy Patrick.

Memorial services will be held 2 PM Saturday, January 26, 2012 at Turkey Creek Baptist Church with Rev. James F. Davis III officiating.
