Born in Belton, she was a daughter of the late Heyward and Sybil Beggs Alverson and was a member of Ware Shoals Pentecostal Holiness Church. She had worked at Stone Manufacturing in Greenville as a seamstress.

Surviving are three sons, Anthony Trupia, Heyward Trupia, and Chad Trupia, four granddaughters, Christina Harris, Kayce Nicholson, Crysta Trupia, and Casey Alexander, and five great-grandchildren, Carliya Harris, Sarah Trupia, Daniel Harris, Layla Nicholson, and Josiah Harris.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Carolyn Trupia, and a brother, Ray Alverson.

Funeral services will be held 2PM Friday, January, 18, 2013, at Ware Shoals Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Mac Jones and Rev. Ray Boggs officiating. The body will be placed in the church an hour prior to the service.
