Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Henry Grady and Tima Lucille Sellers Phillips. She was a member of the Bread of Life Tabernacle and retired from Chiquola Mills.

Surviving in addition to her husband of Anderson; are two sons, Benji Brock of Honea Path and Major C. Smith (Arlene) of Honea Path; two daughters, Donna Wooten (Ricky) and Becky Campbell Richey (Mike), all of Honea Path; one brother, Dennis Phillips, Sr. (Sharon) of Belton; one sister, Louise Sawyer of Michigan; eight grandchildren (four of the home) Nicole Brock, Savannah Brock, Jasmine Brock and Jaden Lell and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers, Raymond and Grady Humphrey Phillips and one sister, Evelyn Brazeal.

 Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM Saturday at The Bread of Life Tabernacle with Rev. Mike Epps and Rev. Tab Scarborough officiating. The body will be placed at the church one hour prior to the service.
