Born in Laurens County, she was the daughter of the late W. Adger and Ruth Ridgeway Babb.  She was a member of Lebanon United Methodist Church.  She was very dedicated to her church, her family and her teaching profession of over 40 years.

Surviving are one sister in-law, Bernice P. Babb; two nephews, John (Sue) Babb and Waddy (Jo Anne) Babb all of Greenwood; two great nephews, Ty (Rollins) Babb of Charleston and Matt (Katie) Babb of Greenwood; and three great-great nieces, Campbell, Harrison and Gray Babb.  She was predeceased by a brother, W. Alton Babb.

Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Saturday at Lebanon United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Diane Boyer officiating.  The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lebanon United Methodist Church, 1450 Dunklin Bridge Road, Honea Path, SC  29654.  Pruitt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  The family is at their respective homes.
