William “Bud” Vaughn 

Honea Path --- William “Bud” Vaughn, 78, widower of Frances Marion Neal Vaughn, of 804 Chiquola Ave., died Saturday, December 1st, 2012 at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.

Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Marion Robert and Margie Ann Stewart Vaughn. He was a member of Honea Path First Baptist Church, and a painter. 

Surviving are one son: Joseph Aubrey Vaughn (and wife Susan) of Donalds; one daughter: Tracy Michelle Vaughn of Honea Path; one brother: Jim Vaughn of Honea Path, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by two brothers: Robert “Noonie” Vaughn, and Charles “Coot” Vaughn; and one sister: Thelma Bagwell.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, December 3rd at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Homer Gilmer and Rev. Andrew Overby officiating. Burial will follow at the Garden of Memories.
