Born in Anderson County, he was the son of the late James and Cora Page Keasler. He was a member of Columbia Baptist Church and a member of Centre Lodge #37 A.F.M. He was retired from Laurens School District #55 where he was a bus driver.

Surviving are: a son, Darrell Ray Poole of Greenville, five daughters, Janice Sullivan of Lexington, Robin Broome of Summerville, Leann Keasler of the home, Nadine Lester of Ware Shoals, and Wanda Jean Rowe of Lyman, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 4 P.M.Wednesday November 14, 2012 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Greg Gambrell officiating. Burial will be private.
