Born in Greenwood County, he was the son of Mary Hall Brock and the late Raymond Roy Kennedy. He was of the Baptist faith. He was retired from Solutia. Tony loved music and singing and was known for having played in several bands.

Surviving in addition to his wife of Gray Court and his mother of Ware Shoals are: two sons, Dustin Reardon of Chappells and Dakota Kennedy of the home, five daughters, Lori Ahrendt and Leeann Chubbuck, both of Honea Path, Callie Boulay of Simpsonville, Tiera and Marlee Kennedy of the home, two sisters, Rose Crawford and husband Mitch, and Patricia Boyce, all of Ware Shoals, and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Friday November 9, 2012 at Parker-White Funeral Home.
