Belton – Thamer Clifton Galloway, 88 of 209 Calhoun Road, widower of Gloria Smith Galloway, died Tuesday at AnMed Health Center.
Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late George L. and Wilma Causby Galloway. He was a member of Williamston Church of Christ and retired from Blair Mills. He was a WWII U.S. Navy veteran.
Surviving are one son; Mark Galloway of Belton, two daughters; Beth Hughes of Honea Path and Karen Kincaid of Gastonia, N.C., two sisters; Frances Harrison of Gastonia and Gretchen Rankin of Belmont, N.C., six grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren. He was predeceased by 2 sisters and 1 brother.
Graveside services will be 3 P.M. Friday at Eastview Cemetery with Rev. Aaron Howard officiating.
