Honea Path – Carnese Hale, 83, husband of Alison J. Hale of 200 W. Greer St., died Friday, October 19, 2012 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Clell, VA, he was a son of the late Larkin and Martha Kiser Hale. He was administrator of radiology at AnMed for 33 years, and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are: one son: Jonathan Griffin Hale and wife Lorraine Lim-Chua of Philadelphia; one daughter: Sydney Hale Edwards and husband Luke of Anderson; two sisters: Virginia Taylor and Lucille Wolhford, and one grandchild: Declan Chua Hale.
He was predeceased by two brothers: Lacey and Billy Hale, and one sister: Phyllis Smith.
Funeral Services will be conducted at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, October 23rd at 4:00 P.M., with Rev. Fran Elrod and Rev. Gayle Summey officiating. Burial to follow in Eastview cemetery.
