Alice Clamp Ashley

Belton – Alice Clamp Ashley, 56, wife of Roger Dale Ashley, of 1692 Highway 252, died Friday at Rainey Hospice House.

 

Born in Abbeville County, she was a daughter of the late Foster Donald and Frances Davis Clamp. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and attended Cross Hill Church of God. She was formerly employed at Blair Mills.

Surviving are her husband of the home, a son, Michael Dale Ashley of the home, two daughters, Amanda Ashley of the home and Rachael Ashley of Belton, a brother Billy Clamp of Salem, two sisters, Marie Floyd of Belton and Sula Dutton of Honea Path, and two grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother Sammy Clamp and a sister Sara Brock.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Monday at Cross Hill Church of God  with Rev. Bobby Burkett and Rev. Ray Brock officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
