Born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, he was a son of the late Thomas Joseph and Helen Drapula Glancy. He was of the Catholic faith. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, Vietnam, co-founder of EDP Computer Services of Houston, Texas, and was retired from the T.S.A., Greenville, SC. He was a graduate of Providence College, an avid astronomer, and a forever fan of the Boston Red Sox, but the most important thing to him was his family.
Surviving are his wife of the home, a daughter, Caroline Bragg and husband David of St. Louis, Missouri, three sons, Kevin Glancy and wife Zhanna of Houston, Texas, Christopher Glancy and wife Blake of Austin, Texas, and John Glancy of Clemson, S.C., two brothers, Tommy Glancy and Adam Zuba, Jr. both of Rhode Island, a sister, Avis Traester of Florida, and six grandchildren, Arina and Alisa Glancy, Hunter Glancy, and Rowan, Egan, and Miller Bragg. He was pre-deceased by a grandson, Thayer Bragg.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday at Parker-White Funeral Home, Ware Shoals, with Rev. Greg Loner officiating. Private burial will be held at a later date.
