Johnny Freeman

Honea Path – John Fields Freeman, 57, husband of Alice Brendle Freeman, of 4 Latimer St., died Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at his home.

 

Born in Walhalla, he was a son of the late John Benton and Estelle Kelly Freeman. He was a member of Crossroads Fellowship Church and was retired from Piedmont Plastics.

Surviving are his wife of the home, a son, Johnny Edward Freeman and wife DeAnn of Kannapolis N.C., two daughters, Marcy Freeman Pitts of Honea Path, and Amanda Freeman Barfield and husband Rushton of Honea Path, two brothers, Lynn Freeman and wife Linda of Ware Shoals and Roy Benton Freeman and wife Judy of Honea Path, a sister Wadine Freeman Masters of Easley, and four grandchildren, Austin Gambrell, Jeter Gambrell, Lily Barfield and Trey Barfield. He was pre-deceased by two brothers, Bobby and Joseph Freeman.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday September 22, 2012 at Crossroads Fellowship Church with Rev. Paul Cooper officiating. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 P.M. Saturday at Crossroads Fellowship Church prior to the service. The family is at the home.
