Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of Randy and Janice Brooks Pruitt. She was a member of Columbia Baptist Church and was employed at Perrigo. She loved shopping with her mom, going to the beach and spending time with her children.

Surviving are her parents of Honea Path, two sons, Brandon and Dylan Pruitt, both of the home, a brother, James Pruitt of Honea Path, and maternal grandparents, Curtis and Doris Brooks of Honea Path and her special friend, Tim Mason.  She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Vance and Jean Pruitt.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday September 19, 2012 at Columbia Baptist Church with Rev. Scottie Hendricks, Rev. Phil Dyar, and Rev. Carrol Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 P.M. Tuesday at Pruitt Funeral Home. The family is at the home of her grandparents, Curtis and Doris Brooks, 388 McCollough School Rd., Honea Path.
