Born in The Bronx, NY, he was a son of the late Pablo Costa, Sr. and Lydia Martinez Costa. He was a retired radiological technologist and was a decorated warrior having served in the Air Force, Marines and Navy, was a survivor of the TET offensive 1968 HUE in South Vietnam and was an editor and member of the HOG.
Surviving are his wife of the home, son; Anthony Paul Costa of Raleigh, NC, daughters; Teresa Johnston of Houston, TX and Diana Pollock of Virginia Beach, VA, brothers; Dennis Costa of Safety Harbor, FL and David Costa of Milford, PA, one sister; Cynthia Bridges of Orlando, FL and six grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother; John Anthony Costa.
A memorial service will be held 11 AM Tuesday at Pruitt Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Bayerl officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday at the home of Billy and Ethel Wright, 240 Shirley Dairy Road, Honea Path. Online condolences may be made at www.parkerwhitepruitt.com
