Born in Anderson County he was a son of the late Sam and Bessie Lollis Davis. He was a member of Broadmouth Baptist Church and had formerly been self-employed.

Surviving are his wife of the home, two daughters; Debbie Treadwell and husband Tony of Belton and Judy Gullatt and husband Cecil of Honea Path, one brother Haynie Davis of Belton, one granddaughter; Abbie Piotrowsky and husband Matt of Pendleton. He was predeceased by brothers; George, Louie, Troy, Webster, Clayton, JR, Malcolm, Jim, and Herbert Davis and sisters; Frances Clamp and Gladys Brock.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Justin Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden Of Memories.
