Born November 1, 1912 in Laurens County, she was a daughter of the late Furman and Sallie Cochran Martin.  She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

 Georgia was a faithful member of Mt. Gallagher Baptist Church where she loved to worship and fellowship with family and dear friends.  She also enjoyed working with her flowers, visiting with neighbors and sitting on her porch.  She truly loved people.

 Mrs. Green was predeceased by her husband, Leslie A. Green II, a daughter, Sandra (Sandy) Smith and sons, Leslie A. (Bucky) Green III and Douglas (Doug) Green.

 Surviving are daughters in law, Mary Dillard Green and Ann Drake Green, seven grand-children, twelve great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and extended family who will miss her.  Georgia was a kind and loving person, an inspiration to all who knew her.

She will live in our hearts forever.

 Funeral service will be held at 3pm on Sunday, June 24, 2012 at Mt. Gallagher Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Marcus Bishop and Rev. Tom T. Faucette officiating.  Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
