Clara Mae Robinson

 

Honea Path – Clara Mae Robinson, 84, of 104 Charles Burton Road, died Wednesday April 18, 2012 at AnMed Health Center from injuries sustained in a car wreck on April 9, 2012.

 Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Waymon “Buss” and Bessie Phillips Robinson. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and a retired Baptist missionary to Japan after 37 years of service.

 Surviving is one brother, Billy Robinson and wife Laura of Ware Shoals, two sisters; Hazel Robinson of Anderson, and Leottice Hopkins of Moore, a special nephew, Kenneth Robinson of Williamston, and a number of other nieces and nephews.

 She was predeceased by three brothers; James, Julius, and Howard Robinson, two sisters, Margaret Gunnells and Minnie Hanley.

 Funeral services will be held at 2PM Saturday April 21, 2012 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Justin Phillips and Rev. Dr. Melvin Aiken officiating. Burial will follow in Eastview Cemetery.
