Honea Path – Wilma Lois Duncan Johnson, 82, wife of William David Johnson, of 517 Filter Plant Rd., went home to be with the Lord Friday January 6, 2012 at her home.
Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Cecil and Lois Janie Bannister Duncan. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and had been a homemaker for 27 years. She was formerly employed by the Travis County Tax Appraisers office in Austin Texas and the University of Texas at Austin. She was a member of the Eastern Star and a Past Worthy Matron, and the Beautant’s Women’s Org. in Texas.
Surviving in addition to her husband of 57 years are, one sister, Amy Dell Autry of Anderson and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Verdie Mae Jones.
Funeral services will be held at 2PM Monday January 9, 2012 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ron Culbertson and Rev. Jerry Burts officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories.
