Belton – Mrs. Victoria Jane Moore Gunter, 60, wife of Charles R. “Joe” Gunter of 209 Bannister Street, died at Oakmont West Nursing Home on Tuesday, December 27, 2011.
Born in Anderson County, she was the daughter of Janie Sue Wright Moore and the late James Curtis Moore, Sr. She was a member of Barkers Creek Baptist Church. She graduated from BHP High School and Forest Junior College and loved her little dog “Buddy”.
Surviving in addition to her husband of the home and her mother are: one brother, Randy Moore and wife Peggy of Honea Path and several nieces and nephews that she loved dearly and a very special friend Faye Parnell of Belton. She was predeceased by one brother, Jim Moore.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wesley Taylor officiating. Burial to follow in Barkers Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8:30 PM Wednesday at Pruitt Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Barkers Creek Baptist Church, 3207 Hwy 252, Honea Path, SC 29654.
