Born in Honea Path, she was a daughter of the late James R. and Sara Henderson Guest. She was a member of Chiquola United Methodist Church and was retired owner and operator of Luv N Care Daycare Center.
Surviving are two sons, Dr. James A. Smith and wife Marsha of Honea Path, Steve M. Smith and wife Lisa of Lexington, two daughters, Kittie Smith Moore and husband Tom of Kernville, Ca., and Kellee Smith Jones and husband Jimmy of Honea Path, a brother, Jimmy Guest and wife Mary Alice of Honea Path, ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a sister, Stella Owens.
Memorial services will be held at 4 P.M. Monday at Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. Will Harper and Rev. Jones Brewer officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 P.M. Monday at the church prior to the service. The family is at the home of a daughter, Kellee Jones, 307 Ervin St. The family wishes to express their thanks and gratitude to the staff of The Maples and Hospice of the Upstate.
