Born in Abbeville County, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Floyd and Lila Robinson Burton. She was a member of Winona Baptist Church, Donalds and was a retired Beautician. She was twice married, first to the late Rufus H. Thompson.
She was the last member of her immediate family and was survived by a nephew, and two nieces, and a longtime friend, Faye Burton of Honea Path.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Monday at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Stanley Fuller officiating. A 4 P.M. committal service will be at Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery in Hartwell, Ga.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 P.M. Monday at Pruitt Funeral Home prior to the service.
