Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Robert “Robbie” Holley, Jr. (Pam) and a daughter, Julie H. McGee (Pee Wee) of Ware Shoals, two granddaughters, raised in the home, Robyn H. Crawford (Lee) and Carla H. Goode (Christopher), three cherished grandsons, Nicholas and Hunter McGee and Luke Holley, two precious great-grandsons, Brennan Goode and Bryant Crawford, a faithful brother Thomas “Tommy” Davis Holley (Gail), all of Ware Shoals.
He was a former employee of Eastwill Sportswear in Greenwood, manager of Maxwell Furniture Store in Ware Shoals for a number of years, and most recently a devoted employee of Burton Center in Ware Shoals where his “boys” were the light of his life. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers Donnie and Randy Holley, his step-mother Ruby B. Holley, a loving daughter-in-law Anne Jones Holley, and special friends Jake Abercrombie and Curtis Strawhorne.
He will be missed by friends, family, and his church. The family respectfully requests that memorials be made to the Burton Center at 2605 Highway 7/221 East, Greenwood, SC 29649.
The family will receive friends at Parker-White Funeral Home in Ware Shoals on Wednesday, October 5 from 6:00 until 9:00 in the evening. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 6 at Parker-White Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Wayne Wicker officiating. Burial will follow in Oakbrook Memorial Park.
