Donalds – George Ellis Uldrick, 88, widower of Emmie McKeown Uldrick, of 455 Dodson Road, died Wednesday September 21, 2011.
Born in Abbeville County, he was the son of the late Joseph and Alice Black Uldrick. He was a member of Donalds Baptist Church and a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. Mr. Uldrick was a graduate of Clemson University and the retired owner of Western Auto of Chesnee. He was a member of the Donalds Historical Society.
Surviving are: one son, Joe Uldrick and wife Janet of Chesnee; two daughters, Margaret Farner and husband John of Donalds and Jane Sagara and husband Ken of Simpsonville; twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Martha Uldrick.
Funeral services will be held at 3PM Sunday, September 25, 2011 at Donalds Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Sturkie officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
The family is at the home and will receive friends in the church social hall from 2-3PM Sunday prior to the service.
