Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Kib and Mattie Pepper Shirley. He was a member of Keowee Baptist Church and had been employed in the construction industry.
Surviving are wife; Rosie Todd of the home, four sons; Donnie Ray Todd, Charles Allen Todd and Douglas Edward Todd all of Belton and Robert O’dell Todd of Honea Path, one sister; Sissy Strickland of Honea Path, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son; Jimmy Ray Todd and a daughter; Judy Shirley.
Funeral services will be 4 PM Tuesday at Pruitt Funeral Home with Rev. John Christmas and Rev. Bennie Dyar officiating. Burial will follow in Keowee Baptist Church Cemetery.
