Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late Jewell Lester and Ella Goldsmith Holloway and was of the Baptist faith. He was retired from Milliken where he worked as a head technician. Mike loved his music and his family. He was always a good neighbor and could work on and fix almost anything.

Surviving in addition to his loving wife of 39 years are, one god-son; Daniel Prince and wife Sabrina of Donalds, one god-daughter; Malinda Grubb and husband Matthew of Anderson, three brothers; Jack and wife Brenda Holloway of Belton. David and wife Jean Holloway of Honea Path, and Marvin and wife Shelby Holloway of Belton, two sisters; Inez Allen and husband Noah, and Daisy Crocker and husband C.J., both of Belton. He was predeceased by one sister, Peggy Brown.

Funeral services will be 2PM Monday at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Howard Steen and Rev. Chris Guire officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories.
