Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late Lude Odell and Lillie Corrine Lollis Medlock. He was a member of Columbia Baptist Church and was retired from Span Contract. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Surviving are two sons, Scott Medlock of Six Mile and Judson Medlock of Taylors, two daughters, Tonya Bryant of Taylors and Karen Blevins of Gray Court, a brother, Barney Medlock of Princeton, three sisters, Doris Brooks of Princeton, Thelma Williams of Hickory Tavern, and Ora Bell Clinkscales of Greenwood, six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. He was pre-deceased by two brothers, Joe and William Medlock.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Sunday at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ken Whitt officiating. Entombment will follow at 4 PM Sunday at Woodlawn Cemetery in Greenville.
