Honea Path – Mrs. Emily Saylors Pearman, 85, widow of David Hiott Pearman, died Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Exalted Health and Rehab in Iva.
Born in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late Sloan and Sally Clinkscales Saylors. She was a member of Mt. Bethel Baptist Church, a member of the Ladies Gleamers Sunday School Class and the Happy Agers and the last member of her immediate family.
Surviving are special caregivers, Ronnie and Lucille Mattison of Anderson; a sister-in-law, Ruth Moore of Belton; a cousin, Ina Wray and husband Cecil of Marietta, Ga., and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 4PM Friday at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church with Dr. Ron Culbertson, Rev. Chris Guire and Rev. Ricky Rice officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 2PM. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3-4PM at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
