Joe Daniel

Honea Path – Joe Ashley Daniel, 75, of 310 Holliday Dam Rd., widower of Martha “Mot” Fields Daniel, died Saturday July 31, 2010 at his home.

Born in Anderson County he was a son of the late Alvin and Mary Ashley Daniel. He was a member of Chiquola Baptist Church and was retired from Owens-Corning of Anderson.

Surviving are a son, Danny Joe Daniel and wife Kathy of Honea Path, a daughter, Shirley Brock and husband Mike of Honea Path, a brother, Alvin “Junior” Daniel of Clinton, seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by a son, Charlie Ray Daniel and a brother Clyde Daniel.

Funeral services will be held at 4 PM Monday at Chiquola Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Powell, Rev. Brad Haynes, and Rev. Ty Childers officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories.
