Frances Clamp
Honea Path – Frances Lucille Davis Clamp, 88, widow of Foster Donald Clamp, formerly of 1214 Griffin Farm Rd., died Thursday, July 22, 2010 at NHC of Anderson.
Born in Anderson County she was a daughter of the late Sam and Bessie Lollis Davis. She was a member of Mt. Bethel Baptist Church where she was a member of the Sarah Holmes Sunday School Class and a former member of the Happy Agers.
Surviving are a son, Bill Clamp of Salem; three daughters, Marie Floyd and Alice Ashley, both of Belton, and Sula Dutton of Honea Path; three brothers, Malcom Davis of Ware Shoals, John Davis and Haynie Davis of Honea Path; twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a daughter, Sara Brock; eight brothers, Herbert, Louie, Webb, Troy, Jim, George, Clayton, and Junior Davis; a sister, Gladys Brock, and a great-granddaughter, Savannah Harper.
Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Sunday at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church with Dr. Ron Culbertson, Rev. Donnie Murdock, and Rev. Carroll Plemmons officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Saturday at Pruitt Funeral Home. The body will be placed in the church at 2 P.M. Sunday. The family is at the home of a daughter, Marie Floyd, 189 Lester Ashley Rd.,Belton. Online condolences may be made at www.parkerwhitepruitt.com
