MARIE ARNOLD

Janie Marie Arnold, 96, widow of John F. Arnold passed away June 20, 2010 in Irving, Texas. She was born August 21, 1913 in Honea Path, S.C. to John Wister and Alice Lollis Cooper. She was a member of Ware Shoals First Baptist Church.

Surviving her are a son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Patsy Bishop Arnold, Ware Shoals and a daughter and son-in-law, June and John Cochran, Irving, Texas. She was the loving grandmother of Parks and Laura Cochran, Lewisville, Texas. John and Elena Cochran, Allen, Texas, Claire and Dan Tharp, Plano Texas and David Cochran, Irving, Texas and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday, 10 am at Parker-White Funeral Home with Rev. Leon Jones and Dr. Randy Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in Oakbrook Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at Parker-White Funeral Home Thursday, June 24 6-8 pm. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Ware Shoals First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 449, Ware Shoals, S.C. 29692 or to a charity of ones choice.
