Lois Shaw

Belton – Lois Corilla Mullinax Shaw, 102, widow of John Raymond Shaw, of 251 Bratcher Rd., died Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at her home.

Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Andrew Jackson and Minnie Lee Watson Mullinax. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Bethel Baptist Church.

Surviving are a son, Marvin J. Shaw and wife Rachel of Belton; three daughters, Reba Bratcher of Honea Path, Alene Sullivan and husband Sam of Anderson, and Betty Collier and husband Marvin Howard of Belton; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a brother Reid Mullinax.

Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. on Friday at Mt Bethel Baptist Church with Dr. Ron Culbertson and Rev. Carroll Plemmons officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday at Pruitt Funeral Home, Honea Path. The body will be placed in the church at 2 P.M. Friday. The family is at the home of a daughter, Betty Collier, 251 Bratcher Rd., Belton. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Rd., Anderson, SC 29621.
