“Bill” Alewine

Honea Path – Mr. Billy Ray “Bill” Alewine, 74, of 3921 Shady Grove Road, husband of Ruby Marlene Ashley Alewine, died Thursday, June 10, 2010 at his home.

Born in Abbeville County, he was a son of the late Archie Leroy and Lillie Bell Gilmer Alewine Harris. He was a member of Keowee Baptist Church and was retired from Wells Aluminum. Bill and Marlene formerly owned and operated The Little Biscuit Barn.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are: two daughters, Stacie Cannon and husband Edwin and Tracy Fisher and husband Robbie all of Honea Path; one sister, Faye Rhodes of Donalds; five grandchildren, Justin, Ashlee, Tyler, Zach and Hannah; two great-grandchildren, Karleigh and Carter. He was predeceased by a brother, Bobby Earl Alewine.

Funeral Services will be held 3PM Saturday at Keowee Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Mize and Rev. Bill Ellison officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 PM at Pruitt Funeral Home.
