Kenneth Kay

Greenville – Kenneth Jefferson Kay, 78, widower of Mary Louise Eskew Kay, of 220 North Old Grove Rd., died Friday at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Abbeville County he was a son of thelate Luda Franklin and Ora Lee Cole Kay.
He was a member of Broadmouth Baptist Church and was a retired truck driver. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, Korean War.

Surviving are three sons, Kenneth Lamar Kay of Simpsonville, Dale Douglas Kay of Easley, and Michael Edward Kay of Chicago, Il., a daughter, Shelia DeLain Kay of Easley, a brother, Alvin Venuel Kay of Ninety-Six, eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by a daughter, Debra Ann Vines, and a brother, Franklin W. Kay.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. on Tueday at Donaldson Church of God with Rev. Eddie Allen and Rev. Alton Stone officiating. Burial will follow in Eastview Cemetery, Honea Path.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 P.M. on Tuesday at Donaldson Church of God prior to the service. The family will be at their respective homes. Online condolences may be made at www.parkerwhitepruitt.com
