Doris Booth

Honea Path – Mrs. Doris Mae Johnson Booth, 78, of 101 Brook Street, wife of Worley Edward (Ed) Booth, died Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Abbeville Nursing Home.

Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Mamie Saxon Johnson. She was a member of Honea Path Assembly of God where she was an active choir member. She was retired from Becton Dickinson Corp.

Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are: one son, Mark Booth of Honea Path; one daughter, Angie Martin of Belton; one sister, Edna Smith of Honea Path; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was predeceased by one sister, Ruth Hopkins and one grandson, Brent Martin.

Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Saturday at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Homer Gilmer and Rev. Paul Cooper officiating. Burial will be in the Garden of Memories.
