Ware Shoals – Harley Ray Long, Jr., 61 of 203 Bryant Road, husband of Margaret Dianne Cogdill Long died Tuesday at his home.
Born in Greenwood, he was a son of Mary Ruth Yeargin Long of Ware Shoals and the late Harley Ray Long, Sr. He was a self-employed mechanic and of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are his wife of the home, mother of Ware Shoals, daughters; Brandy Chavez of Hodges and Christey Nash of the home, step-daughter; Teresa Ostrandy of Greenville, brother; James Long of Ware Shoals.,five grandchildren, Naomi, Daniel, Selena, Loren and Tyler, one great grandchild, Marco.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Friday at Parker-White Funeral Home with Bishop Aaron Hodges officiating. Burial will follow in Ware Shoals Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Thomas Crabtree, Dennis Long, Allen Cogdill, Leslie Beck, Michael Crabtree and Lonnie Cogdill.
