Margaret Kay

Donalds – Margaret Elizabeth Hawkins Kay, 82, wife of William “Bill” Maddox Kay, of 1926 Willie Kay Rd., died Monday, May 17, 2010 at Abbeville Area Medical Center.

Born in Anderson County she was a daughter of the late Charles Mattison and Lola Bell Ashley Hawkins. She was a long time active member of Donalds Baptist Church. She was retired from Huggins Garment Company.

Surviving are her husband of the home, two sons, Charles William Kay and wife Carrie of Charleston and Robert Hawkins Kay and wife Rebecca of Donalds, a daughter, Sonji Kay Aycock of Augusta, Ga., a brother, Charles Rueben Hawkins of Lancaster, two sisters, Dorothy Creamer of Belton and Edith Vann of Anderson, 7 grandchildren, Chandler and Keaton Kay, David and Amanda Kay, and Chad, Lex and Elizabeth Aycock, 3 great-grandchildren, C.J., Ali, and Lexi Acock.

Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jason Sturkie and Rev. Jerry Hill officiating.
