Ethel Clamp
Ethel Juanita Jackson Clamp, 89 widow of Joseph Clamp, resident of 27 Sparks Ave, died Wednesday April 14 in Abbeville. Born in Ware Shoals, she was the daughter of the late Janie Burriss Jackson.
She was retired from Ware Shoals School District 51 and a member of West Main St. Church of God.
She is survived by a son, Joe Clamp of Greenwood, four daughters, Sara (Byron) Wood, Sandra (Don) Nelson, Susan Parelli, and Sally (Russell) Davis, all of Ware Shoals. She is also survived by Rene Clamp, special daughter in law of Greenwood, ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by two grandchildren, a great grandchild and a great-great grandchild.
Graveside services will be conducted Friday at 4 pm, at Greenwood Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Dr. Charles Smith officiating. The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends following the service.
Due to her love for both, flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to help animals at the Greenwood County Humane Society, P.O. Box 242, Greenwood SC 29648
