Bogue Wright

Anderson – Mr. Bogue Horace Wright, 87, husband of Lettie Ann McGee Wright, of 816 Tillotson Road, died Monday, April 12, 2010, at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.

Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Lee L. and Essie Thomas Wright. He was twice married 1st to the late Mildred Dixon Wright. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church, was retired from Anderson Memorial Hospital and was the former owner and operater of Wright’s Grocery of Craytonville.

He was predeceased by a daughter Patsy Ann Brown. He is survived by his wife of the home; one step-son, Mac Copeland of Honea Path; five step-daughters, Pam Venturella of Honea Path, Jo Gayle McClellion of Anderson, Sandy Martin of Cassett, SC, Ginny Lynn Howell of Seneca and Jan Jordan of Iva; two sisters, Marie Graves of Anderson and Annie Laura Kenney of Columbia; two grandchildren, Nathan Trevor Brown and wife Caroline and Dana Brown Mitchell and husband Mark; four great-grandchildren, Emily Ann and Natalie Brown and Garrett and Meredith Mitchell; sixteen step-grandchildren and sixteen step-great-grandchildren

He was also predeceased by five brothers; Humphrey, Charlie, Ross, Jack and Curtis Wright, one sister Carrie W. Brown, and a grandson Randal Townsend Brown.
Funeral services will be held 4PM Tuesday at Bethany Baptist Church with the Rev. Andy Hall and Rev. Carroll Plemmons officiating. Burial will be in church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2 – 4PM prior to the service at the church. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Bethany Baptist Church, 1632 Bethany Church Road, Belton, SC 29627-9112.
