Honea Path – Barbara June Kay Griffin, 85, widow of John Leslie “Less” Griffin, Sr., formerly of 206 W. Greer St., died Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at The Maples.

Belton – Perry “Droop” Milford Elgin, 64, husband of Peggy Eaton Elgin, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2015 at his home.

Hodges – Nancy Evelyn Singleton Price, 95 of Hodges, widow of Henry Grady Price died Saturday at Hospice Care of the Piedmont in Greenwood.

Honea Path – Henry Donald Watson, 88, widower of Helen Ora Hill Watson, of 13 Poplar St, died Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Richard M. Campbell Veterans Nursing Home.

Honea Path – Teresa Ann Brock, 51, of 1567 Legion Lake Road, died Saturday May 9, 2015 at her home.

Honea Path – Carrie Lee Spradlin Gattis Stickles, 86 widow of Walter Abram Stickles, Jr., died Saturday, May 23rd at Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood.

Honea Path – Annie Elizabeth Hanks, 95, of 1920 Sauer Farm Road, died Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.

Born in Anderson County she was a daughter of the late Joseph Tillman and Bessie Cowan Hanks. She was a member of Barkers Creek Baptist Church and was retired from Rice Mills.

She was survived by several nieces and nephews and was pre-deceased by a brother Cowan Hanks, and three sisters, Eva Hanks, Selma Griffin, and Ruth Wilson.

Memorial services will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Barkers Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Wesley Taylor officiating.

The family will receive friends after the service at the church. The family will be at their respective homes. The family requests that flowers be omitted and memorials made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621 or to Barkers Creek Baptist Church, 3207 Highway 252, Honea Path, SC 29624.
