Charles “Charlie Boy” Raymond Rhodes, 64 , of 193 Captains Rd, Donalds , SC, died Sunday, September 1, 2013 at his home. Born in Greenwood County, he was a son of the late J.B and Ethel Bagwell Rhodes. He was of the Baptist Faith.

Honea Path – Oliver Deane Johnston, 68 of 16 Florida Street, husband of Rhoda Vilora Bishop Johnston, died Friday, August 30^th at  his home.

Cross Hill – Brenda Gail Smith Owen, 66, of 281 Pineland Shores Cr., died Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood.

Born in Anderson County she was a daughter or the late Edgar Carradine and Doris Watts Smith. She was of the Baptist Faith and was a retired Deputy Sheriff with the Laurens County Sheriffs Department.

Surviving are her spouse, Don Smith of the home, three sons, James Cory Owens of Donalds, Larry Furman Benton, Jr. of Laurens, and Edgar Dennis Benton of Greenwood, a granddaughter raised in the home, Julieann Gail Benton, three sisters, Diane Balentine, Nyra Rhodes, and Tammy Lyn Smith all of Ware Shoals, and ten grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Thursday at Parker-White Funeral Home Chapel in Ware Shoals with Rev. Dr. Marcus Bishop officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 P.M. Thursday at Parker-White Funeral Home prior to the service. The family will be at their respective homes. Belton – David Ansel Medlock, 53, of 1620 Amity Rd, died Saturday, July 27, 2013 at his home.

He was the son of William and Edith Bryant Medlock.
