Scott Ragsdale
Townville - Scott Marion Ragsdale, age 64, husband of Donna Coker of Townville, SC, passed away on October 1, 2025 at home. Scott was born on May 28, 1961 in Anderson to Janette Ragsdale and the late Frank Ragsdale. Scott is survived by two sisters: Elaine Ragsdale Miller and Tracy Ragsdale Masaid (Brian Smith).
He grew up going to Barker’s Creek Baptist Church and lived in Craytonville for many years. Scott married his childhood friend, Donna and together they spent many days drifting on their boat on Lake Hartwell.
Scott loved to travel, and saw many places in his lifetime. He also loved his job driving 18-wheelers, and his dump truck, which was his passion. He never met a stranger, and was always the life of the party. He loved everyone he met.
Scott is survived by his daughter Megan Ragsdale (Eddie Ashley); two sons: Justin Ragsdale and Ryan “Rhino” Ragsdale (Kayse); two step-daughters: Carrie Logan (Jason) and Terah Coker (Dustin); fifteen grandchildren: Drake (Chole), Jake, CJ (Taylor), Isaiah (Chole), Ryder, Urijah, Haley, Diesel, Jayden, Landon, Braylee, Keiley, Emma, Colton, and Cannon; four great grand-children: Remington, Ola-Lou, Rowan, Otis Wayne (soon to arrive)
The families are at their respective homes. No services are planned at this time.
