Born in Anderson, she was a daughter of the late James Sloan and Annie Olivia Martin Ashley. She was a member of Ware Shoals West Main Street Church of God, where she had served as a Sunday School teacher. She loved reading, puzzles, and spending time with her friends.
Surviving are a son, Mark Anthony Henderson (Dee) of Ware Shoals a granddaughter, Tayler Davis, and two great-grandchildren, Beau and Mela Davis.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, a son, Henry Grady Henderson III, and two sisters, Doris Iola Rowland and Geraldine Burton.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, January 15, 2024 at the West Main Street Church of God, Ware Shoals with Rev Bryan Dye officiating. Burial will be private.
The family will receive friends after the service at the church on Monday.
