Born in Ansonville, PA, he was a son of the late Ralph and Iva Wiley Thomson. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church, Laurens, and was a retired electrician with Teknor Apex of Fountain Inn.
Surviving are a son Jeffrey Thomson (Brenda) of Laurens, two daughters, Terri Kitchen (Charles) of Huntingdon, PA and Bonnie Stegall of Ware Shoals, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
In addition to his parents and wife he was predeceased by a son, Marc Thomson, a brother, John Thomson and a sister, Irma Swan.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Temple Baptist Church, Laurens, with Rev. David Johnson officiating. Burial will be private.
