Born in Aiken, she was a daughter of the late Jimmy Cannon and Gerry Lynn Gore Wormington. She was a homemaker, and was a former leader of Boy Scout troop #902 for over 10 years.

Mrs. McKee is survived by her son Matthew Allen McKee of Hodges; her three daughters: Monica Elizabeth Patterson (Donnie) of Fountain Inn, Holly Beth Taylor of Hodges and Margo Celeste Powell (Daniel) of Marmeet, WV; her brother Daniel Sexton of Atlanta, GA; her sister Donna Gammon of Murrell's Inlet; and her four grandchildren: Alissa, Alex, Erin and LaLa.
