Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Babb and Nora Holder Lollis. She was a member of Cross Hill Church of God of Belton, she attended Ware Shoals High School, formerly employed by Springs Industries, Wamsetta Plant, she loved Ware Shoals and she started the “Ware Shoals Mill Hill Kids, and was active in many town events.

Surviving are a son, David LaRue Whitten of Ware Shoals, a brother, Don Lollis of Williamston, a grand son, Thomas, and a great-grandson, Parker.

She was predeceased by her husband, her parents and two sisters, Ann Lollis Collins and Faye Lollis.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 18, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Cross Hill Church of God, 1703 SC 252, Belton, SC 29627 with Rev. Larry Richardson, Rev. Scott Burdette, and Rev. Chris Jarrard officiating. Burial will follow at 3:00 PM at Greenville Memorial Gardens, 7784 Augusta Road, Piedmont, SC 29673.
