Born in Abbeville County, he was the son of the late James Mills and Blanche Ollielou Crumpton Hall. He was a member of Honea Path Church of God of Prophecy and retired from Timken.

Surviving are cousins, Don Frederick, Wanda Dunkley, William (Linda) Phillips and Barbara Whitworth.

Graveside services will be held at 3 P.M. Sunday, October 5, 2025 at Garden of Memories with Rev. Keith Crocker officiating. Family will speak with friends after the service at the graveside.
