Honea Path - Bessie “Nook” Viola Lollis, 93, of Otto Lollis Road, died Wednesday June 18, 2025 at Lakelands Nursing and Rehab Center in Abbeville.

 

Born in Abbeville County, she was a daughter of the late Otto Humphrey and Lillie Mae Phillips Lollis. She was a member of Donalds Church of God and was a homemaker.

Surviving are: four sisters, Patricia (Ozzie) Cox of Honea Path, Barbara Vest of Honea Path, Louise “Babe” Gambrell of Lake Secession; and Irene Finley of Honea Path; a sister in law, Shelby Hart Lollis of Honea Path; ten nieces and nephews; eighteen great-nieces and great-nephews; and twenty six great-great nieces and great-great nephews,

Miss Lollis was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Dennis ‘Dick” Lollis.

Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Sunday June 22, 2025 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Stevie Crawford officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories.

The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends from 2-3 P.M. Sunday at Pruitt Funeral Home prior to the service. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Lakelands Nursing and Rehab Center and to Hospice of the Piedmont.
