Born in Franklin Georgia, he was a son of the late Henry Sanford and Sarah Vaughn Fleeman. He was a member of Austin Road Baptist Church and retired from Becton Dickinson. He worked for a number of years at CW Murphy Ford as an auto mechanic, which he dearly loved. He ran Jerry’s Chose and Cut Christmas Trees and Greenhouse from his home for a number of years. Above all, he loved his family with all his heart. He was a humble and loving man.
Surviving in addition to his loving wife of 64 years of the home are: two sons, Randy Glenn (Corina) Fleeman of Copperas TX and Larry Allen (April) Fleeman of Shelby NC; two daughters, Sherry (Dean) Robertson of Belton and Jane (Tim) Gillespie of Honea Path; two sisters, Joyce (David) Smith of Greenwood and Delane Camp of Spartanburg; ten grandchildren, Leeann, Lori, Chase, Nicholas, Andrew, Anthony, Tiffany, Tyler, Carrie and Aimee; nineteen great-grandchildren, Lincoln, Arabella, Zoey, Luke, Adreanna, Logan Fairlon, Jacob, Caroline, Ariella, Anna, Norah, Nicholas, Caleb, Ellie Jo, Tarren, Madeline, Hunter, Braylon, and Harper; and his beloved dog, Dallas.
Mr. Fleeman was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Alton Fleeman.
Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at Austin Road Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Slatten, Rev. Alvin Hodges, and Randy Fleeman officiating. Burial will follow in Eastview Cemetery.
The family is at the home and will receive friends from 1:30 – 3 P.M. at the church prior to the service.
