Born in Tryon, GA, she was a daughter of the late Graves “Spud” Thomas and Inez Hudson Gore. She was of the Baptist faith, a graduate of Ware Shoals High School Class of 1964, and an avid seamstress and crafter.

Surviving are a son, Daniel Sexton (Tiffany) of Lawrenceville, GA and two daughters, Sherry Cannon McKee (Mark) of Hodges, and Doma Gammon (Katrina) of Murrells Inlet, three granddaughters, Monica Patterson (Donnie), Holly Beth Taylor, Margo Powell (Daniel)  and a special grandson, Matthew Allen McKee, four great grandchildren, Allissa, Alex, Erin, Lala, and special friends Corie Colburn (John) of Ashfork, AZ, Julie Rothgeb of Bakersfield, CA and Jacqueline Smith of Tulsa, OK

She was predeceased by a brother, Tommy Gore.
